In 2018, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) changed the definition of the gemstone diamond from:
“A diamond is a natural mineral of crystallized pure carbon”
to:
“A diamond is a mineral of crystallized pure carbon of natural or laboratory origin.”
These changes recognize the identity of composition and quality, as well as the authenticity of both natural and organically grown diamonds, giving buyers more options to make an informed choice.

Production
We create diamonds using the HPHT method — a technology of high temperature and pressure. The process is surprisingly straightforward: carbon and a small amount of metallic liquid are added to a diamond seed. In a specialized apparatus, under high temperature, the metallic liquid helps the carbon tightly “embrace” the diamond seed. Atom by atom, over the course of one or two weeks, a rough diamond takes shape. It is then cut and polished just like a natural diamond mined from the depths of the Earth.

Cut and design
Laboratory diamonds fit perfectly into today's fashion thanks to the possibilities of personalization. Different methods of cutting allow you to create relatively inexpensive masterpieces that would previously have been impossible or cost a fortune. Diamonds have become available in a range of colors, because you can grow a stone of any shade. They become part of your image and style. It is no exaggeration to say: "Diamonds are for everyone."
